Compost-A-Pak Compostable 8L Caddy Liners make it easy to keep your kitchen compost caddy clean and emptying a breeze. Made from extracts from third grade corn, not suitable for human or animal consumption, and would otherwise go to waste.

The ideal addition to the Kitchen Compost Caddy, Compost-A-Pak Caddy Liners will make emptying your Caddy a breeze!

  • Printing on the bags is from soy based, non-toxic inks.
  • Roll contains 100 bags.
  • The 8L liners measure 390mm (W) x 425mm (H).
  • The Compost-A-Pak range is made in China - where most compostable bags for sale in Australia are made or obtain their compostable bag materials from.

Compost-A-Pak Caddy Liners will break down under microbial activity and will eventually be part of the soil from which they came.  To meet the Australian Compost standard at least 99% of the liner will be composted within 90 days.  This speed depends on microbial activity - this changes depending upon the compost's temperature.

Composting in your own backyard is another simple and effective way to utilise the contents of your Kitchen Caddy. To learn more about composting in your backyard, there many websites out there but here are a couple we recommend:

Lovely extra touch!

Great useful product (compost bin liners) and the fun inventive detail in the packaging (the teabag and information about other ways I can be an eco friendly consumer) was really great! Keep up the good work!

Great quality but what happened to the handles? Without the handles, it is very difficult to tie these bags closed when full.

Best bags for food waste

The best bags available! They are the same as the ones I got originally from my Municipality, when they introduced the food waste recovery project. The supermarket ones are too thin and fall apart within a day. The Municipality now sells more bags, but they are too thin. The ones I just bought from Ecostore are the original type and very sturdy. They also start falling apart after a few days as designed, but last long enough to hold food waste well and reduce the risk of rats getting into the bin. Buying a pack of three was a bonus, as I now don’t have to look for good bags for a long time.
