I've refilled my little glass jar a couple of times now. I have to admit that I have tried other flosses in between, but I've come back to this one as it's the most comfortable and strongest – other eco flosses tend to snap in my teeth, leaving little bits of floss stuck in there that I have to get out with yet more floss! Dental lace is great and I don't have to worry about it floating around in the ocean and getting tangled around some poor turtle's neck.
I have been using this product for years with overcrowded teeth. I personally get the occasional break but no more so than when I was using synthetic floss. Highly recommend...Better for the environment & price is similar to big brand floss.
I love Dental Lace. It's a great idea to have biodegradable options for such a ubiquitous and overlooked product. And I don't like using other types of dental floss now, they just don't feel like they're cleaning my teeth as well as Dental Lace.
This is my first refill pack. I first purchased the floss from my local Bulk Food store about 2 years ago. I borrowed my husband's generic plastic floss when i ran out and it was horrible. I love the thickness and it cleans my teeth beautifully. It does tend to snap when i get to the last tooth as it has frayed but i weigh that up to being organic which, in the long run, doesn't bother me; i just use more. I will plan on using this for the rest of my life, if i can. A little note on the packaging: there is plastic wrapping around the floss refills. I understand the plastic signifies hygiene but the whole point of buying this floss it to stop plastic waste. It's like "here is your earth friendly floss...wrapped in plastic". What about wrapping in paper or not at all?
I've used this floss for about 2 years. Absolutely loved it to start with, it cleaned well and was sustainable. But now with my most recent refill the floss snaps constantly to the point I don't want to use it anymore. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch but I'm too scared to try.
