Rumour has it that the name 'tea tree' was derived from Australia's Early Explorer Captain James Cook, whom made drinking tea from the leaves of the Melaleuca tree found in Queensland and New South Wales. 

For thousands of years, the Bundjalung people of eastern Australia have used the tea tree oil and leaves as traditional medicine.

Since the 1920s tea tree oil has been used as an everyday remedy and were actually included in WWII first aid kits!

Tea tree is a natural antiseptic and is ideal for skin healing, respiratory clearing and repelling insects.
